Being the last European colony in Asia - transferred to China in 1999 - you can’t fail to miss the Portuguese influence in everything you experience. It operates under ‘one country, two systems’ as part of China & maintains its own currency, immigration, political and legal system. Yes we are in Macau - a unique amalgamation of two different cultures reflected in every aspect of this tiny country.
